Thermometrics Water Temperature Sensor (WTS) monitors the temperature of the coolant that is being pumped around the engine block to cool the engine to notify the driver of the vehicle if the engine starts to overheat. The goal is to relay an over-temperature engine temperature to the driver, so that the vehicle can be stopped and the engine switched off before the heat causes any permanent damage to the engine.

Thermometrics Oil Pressure Switch can be used in all vehicles to monitor the engine oil flow when the engine starts. It can detect oil pressure and enables the EMS ECU to check for the lack of oil. It can also send an alarm signal to the driver, helping to avoid engine damage due to overheating.
Thermometrics Inline Flow-Through Temperature Sensors monitor the temperature of a fluid that passes through it. A system control module receives this temperature reading and uses a control loop to control the overall system temperature. This could be engine temperature, heater temperature, industrial supply temperature, etc.
Thermometrics GE-1923 Outside Air Temperature Sensor (OAT) measures the temperature outside of a vehicle's passenger compartment. It relays the outside air temperature to the controller of the automatic HVAC system. The controller uses this temperature to help control the interior temperature of the vehicle. The sensor also provides the vehicle occupants with temperature readings from outside the car.
Thermometrics GE-1920 HVAC Refrigerant Temperature Sensor measures the refrigerant temperature both at the high pressure side and low pressure side of the line. The control module uses this information to maximize the performance of the HVAC system.
Thermometrics GE-1856 Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IAT) monitors the temperature of the incoming intake air for an engine and provides a signal output that is proportional to air temperature. This signal can be used as an input to provide a signal to an ECU (Engine Control Unit). The ECU then uses this information to adjust fuel delivery and optimize the air-to-fuel ratio to produce the most efficient combustion.
Thermometrics GE-1711 / GE-1797 Engine Temperature Sensor (ETS) monitors the temperature of the coolant, oil or fuel being used in an engine.
