Thermometrics Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS) monitors the temperature of the coolant that is being pumped around the battery to cool the battery module of EV/PHEVs. If the battery module starts to overheat, the Coolant Temperature Sensor relays a signal to the Battery Management System (BMS). The BMS uses this information to prevent battery packs from any damage and maximize the performance.

The Thermometrics Mid-Range Temperature Probe works in a variety of temperature applications in the appliance and industrial segment.

Thermometrics GE-2133 Series of General Fluid Temperature Sensors measures and monitors the temperature of a variety of fluids. The spring clip design secures the sensor in place and provides a quick means for installation and removal.

Thermometrics GE-1856 Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IAT) monitors the temperature of the incoming intake air for an engine and provides a signal output that is proportional to air temperature. This signal can be used as an input to provide a signal to an Engine Control Unit (ECU), which uses this information to adjust fuel delivery and optimize the air-to-fuel ratio to produce the most efficient combustion. GE-1856 is also suitable for air duct temperature measurement in non-condensing HVAC applications.

Thermometrics Oil Temperature Sensor (OTS) monitors the temperature of the engine oil in a vehicle and displays this measurement to the vehicle’s occupants. If a vehicle operates at too high a temperature, the engine can be in danger of damage.

Thermometrics GE-1571 Stainless Steel Sensor with Flying Leads is designed to survive the vibration rigors of automotive, small gas engine, motorcycle and outboard engine applications. In addition to its ruggedness, this sensor offers fast response with a temperature rating of –40°C to 230°C.

Thermometrics Exhaust Gas Recycle Temperature Sensor (EGR) is used to monitor the temperature at several locations in a diesel engine, as part of the engine control strategy. Available in both 150°C and 300°C temperature versions, the high temperature sensor is used in the exhaust gas, and the low temperature sensor is used in the intake air stream. Both are designed for fast response, optimized for thermal dissipation and suitable for high vibration and corrosive environments.

Thermometrics Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor is designed to take the place of one of the cylinder head bolts on a diesel engine. The sensor’s purpose is to measure the cylinder head temperature and to signal the vehicle’s operator if an engine overheats.

Thermometrics Accusolve Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Soot Sensor utilizes radio frequency technology to enable accurate measurement of accumulated soot in the DPF, providing real-time soot loading data and real time closed loop control of the DPF regeneration process.

Thermometrics Fuel Temperature Sensor (FTS) is designed to measure the temperature of a vehicle's fuel and relay this information to the engine control unit, so that it can optimize the air-to-fuel mix ratio, depending on what the fuel temperature is with respect to the intake air temperature. The sensor enables the vehicle to run at maximum efficiency based on temperature.

Thermometrics Type PTO PTC Thermistors consist of a range of radially-wired bare PTC disc thermistors for current regulation, circuit protection and temperature measurement and control. Available in a broad range of resistances, transition temperatures and voltage ratings.

Thermometrics NTC Lead Chip Thermistors are compact in size and designed for accurate temperature measurement, control and compensation in automotive, HVAC and white goods applications.

Thermometrics TG Series of NTC Thermistors are glass-sealed radial type thermistors with a water and oilproof design, featuring high temperature resistance and accuracy. For use in a wide variety of applications, including automotive, heating/cooling devices, boiler systems and appliances.

Thermometrics Miniature Series of Glass Bead NTC Thermistors offers a range of miniature thermoprobes consisting of a large bead thermistor hermetically sealed in the tip of a shock resistant solid glass rod. They offer improved, long-term stability and high reliability.

Thermometrics HTP Series of NTC Type High Temperature Probes consists of a bead thermistor hermetically-sealed in the tip of a shock resistant glass rod. These units are rugged and unaffected by severe environmental exposures. They exhibit excellent stability for all temperatures at or below 842°F (450°C). Intermittent operations at temperatures up to 1112°F (600°C) are permissible.
